Choosing the Right Tandoor Oven for Your Needs

All traditional tandoors are made from clay, fired at high temperatures to make them resistant to the intense heat generated by the fire.  Our tandoors are fired at even greater temperatures making them more robust and durable – these are referred to as fireclay ceramic.

As well as the capacity, its important to note that the larger the tandoor, the heavier the weight.  They’re designed to be placed in the perfect spot and left there (always with a waterproof cover) – unless you fancy lugging kilos of weight around!

The size you choose for your tandoor is key, as this can dictate how many people you can cater to.  Each cooking session can provide heat from a single fire for up to 3 hours, but you can always extend this by adding more fuel.  Choose the capacity based on your needs:
